Pecan Cheesecake Pie ~ Oh My!
1 unbaked pie crust
1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 cup light brown sugar packed
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and diced
1/4 cup caramel sauce
1/4 cup light brown sugar packed
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a medium bowl, combine butter, 1/2 cup light brown sugar, flour, oats, and walnuts until mixture is crumbly. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix together apples, caramel sauce, 1/4 cup light brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Spread the apple mixture evenly into the bottom of the unbaked pie crust. Then sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over top of the apples.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!
